Terms of Service
Language notice: This English translation is provided for convenience. If it conflicts with the Swedish version, the Swedish version governs.
1. General
By creating an account or using Datarens.se (the "Service"), you accept these Terms of Service in their entirety. The Service is provided as is. Datarens.se is operated by a dedicated team based in Sweden.
2. The Service
Datarens.se is an AI-powered SaaS service for automated data cleaning, structuring, and fuzzy matching of Excel, CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, DOCX, PDF, ODS, and TXT files, as well as ZIP archives containing multiple files. We care about your privacy: all data processing and cleaning takes place directly in the server's temporary working memory (RAM). No uploaded files or personal data from the files are stored permanently on our disks or servers.
3. Plans, limits, and payment
The Service offers different subscription tiers, the exact scope of which is controlled dynamically through your account:
- Starter (Free): Limited to a maximum of 3 files and 500 rows per file per calendar month.
- Growth (USD 39/month excluding VAT): Up to 100,000 rows in total per month. The number of files is unlimited as long as the total row limit is not exceeded.
- Business (USD 59/month excluding VAT): Up to 500,000 rows in total per month. The number of files is unlimited as long as the total row limit is not exceeded. Hybrid AI cleaning (Haiku + Sonnet), priority support.
Growth and Business subscriptions run monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your dashboard/account page. After cancellation, you retain full access to the paid plan's features until the end of your current paid period.
4. User obligations
- You are independently responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis (for example, consent or legitimate interest under the GDPR) for processing and uploading the personal data or records that the Service processes.
- You must not upload malicious code or infected files, or use the Service in a way that deliberately overloads our infrastructure (for example, through automated scripts or DDoS attacks).
5. Right of withdrawal and digital delivery
Because Datarens.se is a digital service that is delivered and used immediately at the time of purchase, when upgrading to Growth or Business you, as a consumer, consent to delivery beginning immediately. You thereby agree that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act ceases when the service-based features are made available on your account.
6. Limitation of liability
Datarens.se provides automated cleaning through advanced AI models. We cannot guarantee 100% mathematical accuracy in every cleaning operation. As the customer, you must always review and verify the result before cleaned data is used in production environments or business-critical systems.
Datarens.se is not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or loss of profit. Our total financial liability to you is, under all circumstances, limited to the total amount you have paid for the Service during the preceding twelve (12) months.
7. Operational reliability and availability
We strive to maintain high availability for the Service's web interface and API.
8. Force Majeure
Datarens.se is released from liability for failure to perform an obligation under these terms when the failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, war, government actions, sanctions, extensive global or national network outages, and technical or legal interruptions affecting our critical subcontractors (such as Stripe, Supabase, Railway, or Anthropic).
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Swedish law. Disputes arising from this agreement shall be finally decided by a court of general jurisdiction, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
